Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries (FODL) - Dartmouth, MA

FODL is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the community's use and enjoyment of our town's libraries. We focus attention on Library services and needs to encourage community support. We help fund Library resources and sponsor programs for area residents of all ages. We raise funds through our annual membership drive, book sales, and generous donations from fellow library enthusiasts.

Programs & Services

In addition to funding special library purchases and the Patron's Select book collection, the Friends provide free and discount passes to regional attractions, sponsor popular events such as the Molly Little Winter Film Series, Museum Trips, Art Classes, Children's Programs, Speaker Series, Book Sales, and more.

FODL Board of Directors

The Board includes members of the community, the Library Director, and a representative from the Library Board of Trustees. Annual meetings are open to the public and typically held in June.
